The grand finale to end all grand finales. “You don’t need to understand the language, just watch the video… The ultimate movie scene of India, or the world may be. This is a scene from the most expensive telugu movie Magadheera!”

José González: “Far Away”. Two weeks ago I got on touch with a proper video game for the first time in months/years: Red Dead Redemption. Good one. And then I discovered this video one day later when in the game “John Marston, the main character, first reaches Mexico, riding horseback along a dusty trail between cascading red cliffs and the San Luis River; definitely one of Red Dead’s most visually and sonically memorable moments” - with this song playing. Makes the whole experience even better. Typical Rockstar. (Stopped playing anyways. I’m getting old.)

Blade Runner Revisited by François Vautier
Vautier’s tribute to Scott’s classic uses all 167,819 frames of the film:
“I assembled all these images to obtain one gigantic image of colossal dimensions: a square of approximately 60,000 pixels on one side alone, 3.5 gigapixels (3500 million pixels). He then panned a virtual camera above this giant image, creating the illusion of animation.
Fantastic.
Radiohead Live in Praha DVD 8/23/09 - for free! “On August 23rd 2009, a group of Radiohead fans descended on the Výstaviště Holešovice Exhibition Hall in Prague on a mission to capture the band playing using as many different angles as possible. Bringing together the exceptional talents of many contributors, here’s a glimpse of the result.” Download: http://radiohead-prague.nataly.fr - try a few times, the site is loading very slowly at the moment) 15 Step Edited by 00liadon Good job, kids!

Robyn performing Björks “Hyperballad” at the Polar Music Prize 2010 tonight. “Björk is in Sweden for the Polar Prize ceremony which takes place tomorrow, where she will be receiving One Million swedish Kronor from the hand of the His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf himself.” I know a lot of you folks like Robyn, but hey, sorry kids, this is not even close to the awesomeness of the original:

EDIT: Looks like they deleted all the vids in their account. What a pity.
Arcade Fire are currently uploading their complete Reading 2010 performance into their Youtube account. The show was recorded by BBC3. “Ready To Start” is the first out of 17 songs. Seems to be their day in music news.
