Jerusalem - filmed in Imax 3D

I couldn’t care less about the religious part of this take on the “birthplace of monotheism”. But the aerial shots are truly stunning.

After a year of research and preparation, the giant screen film JERUSALEM advanced into production with an unprecedented aerial shoot throughout Israel and the West Bank. Scheduled for worldwide release in 2013, the film will take audiences on a spectacular tour of the Holy Land and the city once believed to lie at the centre of the world.

Hear Karen O & Trent Reznor Cover Led Zeppelin

Our first taste of Trent Reznor’s work on director David Fincher’s adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo just arrived in the form of the highly anticipated film’s debut trailer, which is soundtracked by a new cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song,” produced by the Nine Inch Nails mastermind and featuring Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O on vocals. Above, you can watch a decent leak of the clip, complete with surprisingly good audio of their thrilling take on the 1970 hit.

    Rollercoaster

Neil Young - Le Noise - The Film, featuring performances from his new album, produced by Daniel Lanois! Or listen to it in its entire length via NPR here. The trick is: This one’s recorded without a band. Just Neil Percival Young, his guitar, FX and the producer: “We cut a couple of solo acoustic songs, but the rest is very electric” and “There’s no band, but I got in there with my sonics.”

    Edit: Sorry, it’s gone.

Wow. “Exit Through The Gift Shop: A Banksy Film”, the highly recommended Banksy film, an “incredible true story of how the world’s greatest Street Art movie was never made” is online now. In full length!! Get more details here. Watch it while it lasts.

Finally… I’m going to see The King Of Kong. Now!

A sneak preview of the live stage show 59 Productions is creating for Jónsi ’s 2010 tour - a cross between film, art installation, theatre performance and live gig.
