Truly a must see! Filmography 2010 – 270 Movies in 6 Minutes. Yes, 270. Pure madness. Not only cut, but edited. WTF!? Here is (the very long) list of films in order of appearance. The songs used are: 1. Ratatat: Nostrand - 2. Kanye West: Power - 3. Rooney: Not In My House - 4. Apartment: Fall Into Place - 5. Civil Twilight: Letters from the Sky - 6. SUNBEARS!: Little Baby Pines. Enjoy.

The xx - VCR (Four Tet remix). Think you’ve had enough of The xx with last/this years hype about them? Think again. Or at least: Think mighty Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet is putting hands on an already good song, making it: pure gold.
The Berliner Stadtreinigung (the public cleansing service in Berlin) succeeded in a world record attempt creating a mosaic picture (of a polar bear) with dustbins; 6.401 were arranged by 150 people as a statement pro waste separation to cut down CO2 emissions. Good heavens. Google Instant finds things faster than you type. Well, at least in real time prediction. “Fun, fluid and interactive”, says Google. Scary but very cool, says uvmann. Even though it seems to be like the end of “page 2” AND it feels very strange that they kind of censor “instant”. (Of course, the naughty dirty words appear when you hit “go”but not in the predictions. Googapple, anyone?
P.S.: Will work on your mobile too this fall. (EDIT: Wait, it works already!)

Robyn performing Björks “Hyperballad” at the Polar Music Prize 2010 tonight. “Björk is in Sweden for the Polar Prize ceremony which takes place tomorrow, where she will be receiving One Million swedish Kronor from the hand of the His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf himself.” I know a lot of you folks like Robyn, but hey, sorry kids, this is not even close to the awesomeness of the original:

WOW. Go and type in your childhood address at thewildernessdowntown.net to play the new, interactive video for the song “We Used To Wait” by Arcade Fire. You’ll get the best experience with the Google Chrome browser. And guess what, Germany: “There is not enough streetview data” for my full experience. So you better pretend to be born somewhere else to get the whole fun. The video was directed by Chris Milk and built in HTML5. Good idea. Thank god for the internetz.
Read more about the project in this Wired article.
